Photographs and notices from the famous Allihies copper mines are on the walls. The Allihies Copper Mine Museum is only a short stroll away in this small but lively West Cork village. The pub’s stunning mural shows you the mines and the Slieve Miskish mountains that lie behind them.

It hints at Beara’s hiking trails and walking routes which start nearby nearby. In fact, O’Neill’s Bar is the perfect place to take a break while you’re exploring Beara’s wild terrain, and sandy beaches, or planning a trip to Dursey Island on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.
